Outstanding Latino/a Cultural Award in Literary Arts or Publications

This award was established to recognize Latinos/as who have contributed significantly to our understanding of our Hispanic community and/or culture through literary arts, scholarship, and publications. This award will honor individuals for the following achievements:

  • Fictional short story, novel, children's book, or poetry authentically depicting Latinos/as
  • Non-fictional publications, books, manuscripts, Latino journal
  • Editor of Latino newspaper
