Pre-Conference Workshop #1

"Publishing in Professional Journals"

This workshop is designed to introduce the proper protocols, characteristics and processes for submitting articles to professional publications by discipline and methodology. Participants in this workshop will walk away with knowledge and information on how to prepare manuscripts for publication in journals as well as other outlets.

Pre-Conference Workshop #2

"Leading for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Higher Education"

Educational leaders from across the nation will provide inter-institutional perspectives on leadership for a changing higher education system and society. Participants will gain experience with research-based concepts, models, and tools to address contentious issues in higher education leadership. This workshop is based on a ground-breaking program of leadership development, the New Leadership Academy, offered in partnership with AAHHE and other national partners, which connects issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion with the public good mission of higher education.
