COVID-19 Protocols for the 2023 AAHHE Conference
COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement to attend the 2023 AAHHE National Conference (in person)
- As we prepare to gather for the national conference, the AAHHE Board is mindful of the current spread of COVID-19 variants and, in order to promote a healthier and safer meeting environment, has decided that all conference presenters, attendees, AAHHE staff, board members, and onsite vendors will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated in order to attend the conference. The proof must be provided by February 27th, 2023 via CrowdPass, a third-party organization. More info on CrowdPass below.
- AAHHE is following CDC guidelines of a full vaccination status.
- As per the CDC, if you have received all recommended doses of a COVID-19 vaccine that has been authorized or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or is listed for emergency use by the World Health Organization (WHO), then you are considered to be fully vaccinated.
- Individuals are considered “fully vaccinated” (1) two weeks after receiving the second dose in a two dose COVID-19 vaccine series or (2) two weeks after receiving a single dose COVID-19 vaccine. You are fully vaccinated even if you haven’t gotten your booster yet.
- If you have registered to attend the conference in person and are unable to meet this requirement, we encourage you to change your registration to attend virtually. If you do not want to attend virtually, AAHHE will provide a refund to you. For conference presenters, please note that you’re still required to have at least one person of your team present in-person at the conference.
Self-Health Assessment: All CSN personnel and guests should conduct a health self-assessment prior to coming to campus. Prior to coming to campus, all AAHHE conference attendees will be asked to fill out a questionnaire via CrowdPass to verify vaccination information and answer questions related to the health assessment to ensure all attendees remain safe and healthy during the event. The questionnaire should be completed by February 27, 2023.
Note: Individuals who have answered ‘yes’ to any of the health-assessment questions are recommended to attend the conference virtually.
Face Coverings: Face coverings are no longer required inside CSN buildings and campuses. Faculty, staff, students, and visitors retain the option of personally deciding to wear a face covering while on CSN property.
CrowdPass: We ask you to please complete your verification of vaccination. Please click the link below to proceed and use your email account to create your CrowdPass account. You will need your vaccination card on hand (or a copy/photo of it saved on your computer) so you can reference the information on it and then take or upload a picture. Accepted file formats for your upload are .png, .jpg, .jpeg, or .pdf.

Most verifications are completed within an hour or two, but please be patient if you do not receive your confirmation until the next day.
We appreciate your cooperation. AAHHE reserves the right to adjust the above Covid -19 policy as per updated CDC or institutional guidelines.
Please do not hesitate to contact AAHHE at [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to seeing you in Nevada!
